We are searching for a meticulous and analytical AP/AR Clerk to join our team in Sonoma, California. This role primarily involves overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable and receivable cycle, supporting related accounting activities, and maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of financial data. Responsibilities: • Oversee the weekly accounts payable cycle• Receive and organize incoming vendor invoices from various channels• Distribute vendor invoices to company managers for review and approval• Enter approved and coded invoices into accounting software• Administer the company expense report system and process all expense reports for payment• Review vendor statements and verify receipt of all invoices• Manage and maintain vendor W-9 forms• Process credit memos associated with promotions, programs, samples as required• Review customer accounts for accuracy• Post revenues by verifying and entering transactions from lock box and processing local deposits• Oversee maintenance of accounts receivable files and records• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures as well as all state and federal laws• Work successfully as part of a team and develop strong working relationships with co-workers• Attend staff meetings and training and perform general office tasks as required• Execute special assignments, projects, and other duties as required.
